  • How many band members do you regularly have? Depending on the venue and our clients needs- We offer a full band sound as a DUO or TRIO.  Of course Duo, Trio which is very cost effective in todays economy. We can provide you with a larger group if needed 4pc. up to 8pc.

 

  • What is your band's usual attire?
    Men: Formal Tux/ Black and White Business Casual: Button Up-Shirts with colar and Slacks-Black, Navy or Kakies. Sports Jacket and Tie. Women: Formal Gown/Dress Causal: Pantsuits, or Dress appropriate for the event. We dress Formal for all Weddings and Corporate Events. We have costumes such as Disco to something Funky, Fun themed events. NO JEANS or T-SHIRTS ALLOWED HERE! Beach Venues requires a different theme all together. Men: Hawaiian Button Up Shirts with Navy Blue or Kakies or White Slacks. Women are always matching in the same colors of what the men wears at all times.
  • Do you offer live sample performances?
    Yes, samples are available online as well as private auditions for wedding and parties.
  • Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know? We Take All Request! Yes, we learn each song requested.
  • Do you offer special equipment into your service? Yes, at an additional cost- Disco Ball, Lighting, Strobe lights and Projection Lighting Backscreen.
  • Do you usually emcee the reception and/or talk between songs? MJSA always keep the party going. We provide audience participation, dance contest, sing alongs and more.
  • Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal? Depending on the gig- for weddings we do take a 10-15 min. break in between sets for water and restroom breaks.
  • Note: Please provide the group with water, juices and a full meal or appetizers.
  • Do you play recorded music during your break(s)? We provide music and announcements in between sets.
  • How much time do you usually need to set up?
    Duo and Trio 1 1/2  hour set-up time
  • Larger Group at least 2 hours set up time and sound check.
  • How much space do you usually require?
    We can fit in any space you have available.
  • What is your overtime rate?
    It all varies how long we've gone over. We are reasonable.
  • Do you charge for travel expenses?
    We have a flat rate when giving you a quote. No hidden or added charges.
